Silver Falls

I love living in Oregon--it's so beautiful! We spent a wonderful Memorial Day hiking at Silver Falls.

This is the end of the day--I thought for sure they'd be tired and ready to go home, but they were begging for more.

Maybe it's because I have all boys, but I just love pictures of little girls in pink dresses.

Trees Should be Climbed

When I was young, I had a friend whose house was surrounded by trees. I don't know how many acres there were, but to me it seemed like they owned a whole forest. I spent many happy hours exploring the woods and climbing trees on her property. I can't wait until we have a home with some property where I can grow trees for my boys to climb. They'll probably be fruit trees because I love things that multitask, but the real purpose will be climbing.
